When deciding to buy your first bowling ball or pick up another one for your bowling arsenal. There of course are many factors to consider. To start with, what kind of material do you want? You can go with polyester rubber, urethane or even plastic.
For a starter, I would suggest a plastic as it is the cheapest and least costly and will last you a good amount of time. But, bowlers with more experience will want a more professional ball made from polyester rubber as it will have more versatility with ball control on spins and other moves. You will also want to consider weight. The best way to figure that out is simply testing out different weights to see what you like. Don’t try and be a champ, start light and work your way up.
Brunswick Evil Siege Bowling Ball
This Ball is a great addition to your bowling arsenal. This ball has great reaction on the backend but is still controllable. It hits hard and works well on medium lane conditions. You will get that pro hook you been looking for and will slam into those pins with wrecking ball force leaving nothing standing.
Brunswick C-System 3.5 Bowling Ball
A very popular style of ball from the Brunswick crew, the CFT 3.5 is the next evolution in Chemical Friction Technology. It has a higher friction factor that the CFT 2.5, this increases the response time and will improve down lane traction that will also increase the hook. You can’t go wrong with this ball from beginner to pro.
Power Groove Reactive
Don’t let the price of this fool you, this ball is killer. This ball will keep the pins low and spinning instead of flying outward and not taking anything with them. Just remember to keep it shined up so it glides down the lane without any hops. There are plenty of balls out there that cost more so feel free to give them a try if you like, but really, it isn’t always needed unless your some pro who wouldn’t be caught with anything less. At the end of the day, it’s the score that matters not the price tag on your equipment.
